Aaron Cornwell Elliott was born on May 21, 1935 in Minco, Oklahoma to William Christopher and Lula Lattimore Elliott, the youngest of their twelve children.  Though named after the doctors attending his birth, "Aaron" was soon known by his siblings as "A.C."  The Elliott brothers and sisters had a close bond that provided a ready friend wherever they moved as youngsters and throughout their long lives.

The Elliott Family's move to Vian, Oklahoma in 1949 was pivotal.  It marked Mr. Elliott's retirement from the military and settled the family onto a small acreage. Aaron made friends and excelled at the local high school. It was then that he met his very best friend and life partner, Billie June Taylor, his wife of 69 years.

After Air Force service at Lackland AFB in San Antonio Texas, Aaron and Billie returned to Oklahoma where they graduated together from Northeastern State College, as it was then known.

What followed was a long and fulfilling career in Federal Law Enforcement with assignments that led from Muskogee to Washington, DC, Jackson, MS, Chicago, St. Louis and Houston.  With many moves and extensive travel, Aaron's final move, a return to his adopted hometown of Vian, was his happiest.  Aaron and Billie spent their retirement years on what had been her family's farm.

It was there that he enjoyed rural living.  His days were filled with fixing things, feeding the wild turkeys, watching sunsets and welcoming every manner of visitor. He loved history, reading, old radio programs and vintage Perry Mason episodes. Discussions about favorite books frequently led to visitors leaving with a book he thought they might enjoy.

Aaron was predeceased by his parents and his siblings, Virginia Kathleen Elliott Lambert, William Christopher Elliott, Jr, Vertie Belle Elliott, Annie Lou Elliott Basore, John Thomas Elliott, Frank Wall Elliott, Julia Mae Elliott Brown, Charles Lattimore Elliott, Mary Lee Elliott Roberts, Lula Faye Elliott Anderson and James Emmett Elliott.

Survivors include his wife, Billie Taylor Elliott, and his daughters, Vici Elliott Boguess (Thomas) and Christi Elliott Burchard (Curtis), his grandchildren, Clarence Burke, Jr, Taylor Christine Burchard and Blake Thomas Burchard.  He is also survived by three sisters-in-law and his much loved nieces and nephews.

No services are planned. Cremation is under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.
