Funeral Service for Aaron “A.R.” Washington, 92, of Gore, Oklahoma will be at 10:00 AM on Friday, January 22, 2021 at Emmanuel Pentecostal Church in Braggs, Oklahoma. Burial will follow at South Bethel in Braggs, Oklahoma under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.

He was born on January 8, 1929 in Stringtown, Oklahoma to Ola (Davis) Washington Sourjohn and John Washington and passed away on January 15, 2021 in Tahlequah, Oklahoma. He was married to Eula (Warseat) Washington on November 17, 1950 in Gore, Oklahoma. He was a United States Army Veteran of the Korean War, a machine operator at Fansteel, Inc. and was a member of White Chapel Church in Gore.

Survivors are:

wife: Eula of the home;

2 daughters: Angela Hendrix of Guthrie, OK and Tammy Pack of Gore, OK;

2 sons: Allen Washington of Pryor, OK and Stanley Washington of Muskogee, OK;

7 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren;

3 sisters: Patricia Crum of Braggs, OK, Joan Carr of Catoosa, OK and Carolyn Rickner of Blackwell, OK;

several nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one daughter, Billie Joyce Washington; four sisters, Ima, Brenda, Phyllis and Pauline; and two brothers, Billy and Stanley “Teen”.

Active Pallbearers will be his Grandsons.

Viewing will be 1 – 8 PM Thursday at Agent Millsap Event Center in Gore, OK.
