I worked with Addie for many years as an Adult Education Director. I always enjoyed visiting with her at our conferences and trainings. She was professional, poised and beautiful. My sincere condolences to the family.

Through our Caring Hearts Ministry at church, Mike & I were blessed to include Addie and her mother(Miss Louie) in our regular visitation. What a joy each of them were. Addie and I worked together at Sallisaw Public Schools and after I retired I worked for her in the Adult Education program. She was a wonderful leader and mentor . I admired her . She always had a positive outlook and oh that sweet smile. I will truly miss her.

My husband Jim & myself always loved going by to visit with Ms. Louie & Addie would be there taking care of her Mother! Jim & I were members of the Caring Hearts Ministry that Mike & Cleata Brown established! We learned things about Ms. Louie’s life as we visited & had lots of laughs with she & Addie! For many years Addie & I were across the street & around the corner neighbors- Lucy Street & Poplar/Mayo Street! She was always the sweetest & dressed so fashionably! Sending love & prayers to Melinda & husband & to Sarah & husband & children & to Will & family! We know Addie Mae will be greatly missed by all her family- God bless each & everyone!✝️♥️ Julia and Jim Agent

Addie Mae made such a difference in my life. When I grow up I want to be like her. Her life that blessed and instructed her family, those who knew her as the true friend she wanted to be to all she encountered, and her deep and abiding faith were central to the remarkable grace, wisdom, optimism, and compassion she shared selflessly throughout her life. I look forward to being with Addie in eternity.

Addie Mae was an inspiration to us all. Full of life and love to all she came in contact with. She loved her family and friends and showed it through her warmth and kindness. My greatest sympathy to Melinda and her family. You will miss her but know she will always be with you God bless you all.
