She was born on March 14, 1934 in San Francisco, California to Christine Helen (Oglin) and George Osterman, Sr. and passed away on September 8, 2020 in Fort Smith, Arkansas. She was married to Roger Hale. He preceded her in death Mrs. Hale was a 1952 graduate of Manteca High School in California. She was a stay at home mother of 8 for many years, volunteering as a Co-Troop Girl Scout Leader while also being a PTA secretary for her children’s school. She was an Avon representative to many friends for years, then began working at Whirlpool for 10 plus years. She loved singing in her church choir, getting her hair done and wearing bright red lipstick. Her favorite pastime was shopping for bargains at flea markets and playing Bingo, but the most important job to her was being a mother and grandmother.

Survivors are:

4 daughters: Kathy Hinkle and Bob, Connie Johnson, Shirley Hoover, and Mary Sears and Ed;

3 sons: Ronnie Hoover and Shirley, Donnie Hoover and Kim and David Hoover;

15 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild;

1 sister: Mary Marsigli;

2 nieces: Jeanie Quinn and Phil and Marie Marsigli-Foley and Mike;

1 nephew: Bill Marsigli and Sherri;

1 great niece and 3 great nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Roger and son, Carl Hoover.
