Alice (Cato) Miller

Funeral Service for Alice (Cato) Miller, 93, of Vian, Oklahoma, will be at 2:00 PM on Monday, September 16, 2024 at Agent Mallory Martin Chapel in Sallisaw, Oklahoma. Burial will follow at Garden of Memories Cemetery in Vian, Oklahoma under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc. 

She was born on February 7, 1931 in Buckhorn, Oklahoma to Ethel Pearl (Risley) Cato and Eulas Bud Cato and passed away on September 9, 2024 in Morris, Oklahoma. She was married to Finis E. "Booger Red" Miller on May 29, 1950 in Van Buren, Arkansas. He preceded her in death on March 26, 2003. She was a homemaker and of the Pentecostal faith.

Survivors are three daughters, JoAnn Baker of Morris, OK, Carolyn Nichols of Mounds, OK and Alieta Nichols and Danny of Blackgum, OK; one son, Finis " Bub" Miller of Kiefer, OK; 12 grandchildren, Roger Baker, Lance Baker, Gina Brumley, Ernest Brumley, Melody Ashley, Amber Brown, Tammy Hill, Finis Miller III, William Miller, Gabrielle Miller, Michael Miller and Louise Schmoll; 32 great-grandchildren and 11 great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; one brother, William Cato; five sisters, Sally McNabb, Peggy Turney, Viola Franks, Lola Mae Cato and Bessie Johnson; three sons-in-law, Jim Admire, Roger Nichols and Roger Grunden; and one great-granddaughter, Brianna Miller.

Active Pallbearers will be Roger Baker, Lance Baker, Seth Baker, Mike Ashley, Michael Ashley II, Matt Trussell and Michael Miller. 

Viewing will be 10 AM - 6 PM Saturday and 2 - 8 PM Sunday at Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Home in Sallisaw, OK where the family will greet 3 - 5 Sunday.
