Alvin Ramer, Jr.

Funeral Service for Alvin Ramer, Jr., 82, of Roland, Oklahoma will be at 10:00 AM on Thursday, January 4, 2024 at Agent Mallory Martin Chapel in Muldrow, Oklahoma. Burial will follow at Oak Cemetery in Fort Smith, Arkansas under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.

He was born on April 20, 1941 in Heavener, Oklahoma to Lois (Akins) Watts and Alvin Ramer, Sr. and passed away on December 30, 2023 in Van Buren, Arkansas. He was a painter and of the Assembly of God faith. Alvin was a former Golden Gloves boxer and Toughman contestant.

Survivors are one daughter, Cheryl Yarberro and Ricky of Bonanza, AR; two sons, Gary Ramer and Barbara of Fort Smith, AR and Larry Alvin Weaver of Fort Smith, AR; seven grandchildren, Larry Weaver, Charity Weaver, Jacob Ashley, Cody Weaver, Justin Yarberro and Amber Thompson and G.W. Ramer; 16 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Sharon Mason of Roland, OK and Carol Woods of Witcherville, AR; one brother, Wayne Watts of Roland, OK; and several other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers-in-law, Bobby Mason and James Woods; and one daughter-in-law, Jocelyn Weaver.

Viewing will be 10 AM – 8 PM Wednesday at Agent Mallory Martin Chapel in Muldrow, OK where the family will greet 6 – 8 PM.
