Andrew Brooks

Andrew Brooks 92, of Roland, OK died May 4th, 2018 in Roland. He was born April 13th, 1926 in Liberty,OK to Ola Andrew Brooks and Gennie Lou Sutton.He was a WWII, U.S. Army Veteran, member of Amazing Grace Fellowship and retired employee of Riverside Furniture. He is survived by his sister Glenna Hicks of Fort Smith; one grandson Jeremy Dean and wife Christen Dean of Fort Smith, one granddaughter Serena Weir of Roland, and two great-grand children Andrea Weir and William Pinkerton.

He was preceded in death by his wife Okla Mae Brooks, one daughter Paula Brooks, one son Dennis Brooks, five sisters Marie Nation, Jane Coppler, Mae Buffington, Ada Redden, Majoria Allen and two brothers Bill Brooks and Edgar Brooks.

Andrew loved the lord and was truly from the “Greatest Generation” and his gentle, humble and loyal spirit will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Funeral service will be Wednesday, May 9th, 2018 at 1:00 PM in the Agent Mallory Martin Chapel of Muldrow with burial to follow in Roland City Cemetery.The family will greet friends on Tuesday evening from 6-8 PM at Agent Mallory Martin Chapel Muldrow.
