Archie C. Edwards

Archie C. Edwards, 68 of Muldrow passed away January 3, 2020 at his home.

He was born at home on January 28, 1951 in to Elmer “Jack” Ellis Edwards and Rosie Violet Russell in Muldrow, OK.

Archie was a beloved son, husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, uncle & friend. He was an all around family man. On July 10, 1980 he married Donna Cranfield-Edwards. He was a jack of all trades. Truck driving was his main profession but in his spare time he enjoyed being with family and friends, playing cards, shooting pool, carpentry and watching his Patriots play football. After his retirement he and his wife began craft shows and just enjoying life to the fullest.

He was preceded in death by sister Mavis Hudson, father Elmer “Jack” Ellis Edwards and mother Rosie Violet Russell.

He is survived by wife Donna Edwards of Muldrow, daughter Tonya Hill of Muldrow, daughter Sonya Edwards of Siloam Springs, son Kevin and wife Shawn Edwards of Muldrow and daughter Samantha and husband Daniel Newell of Van Buren. Sisters Faye Treat of Silex, MO and Che Chie Middleton of Gans. Brothers Bill Ed of Muldrow, Junior of Roland, Jimmy of Roland, Randy of Alma, Tony of Gans and Robbie of Sallisaw. Grandchildren Ashley, Chris, Stephanie, John Paul, Devin, Mathew, Kristina, Taylor, Darren, Drew, Gentrie, Logan and Blaz. Great grandkids Tysen, Kassidy, Kiah, Hudson, Camela, Blakely, and Wylder.

Pallbearers will be Devin Harriman, John Paul Hill, Daniel Middleton, Joe Middleton, Darren Hill and Clayton Smith.

Honorary pallbearers will be Rick Sharp, Gary Sharp, Roger Sharp, Larry Edwards, Allen McCullers and Danny Middleton.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, January 7, 2020 at Agent Mallory Martin Chapel in Muldrow, Oklahoma. Burial will follow at Akins Cemetery in Sallisaw, Oklahoma under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.

Viewing will be 10 am – 8 pm Monday at Agent Mallory Martin Chapel in Muldrow where the family will greet 6 – 8 pm.
