Uncle Eddie was always dear to my heart. I didn't see him or visit him as much as I should have or even wanted to after I got sick. I apologize to him at moms here while back and he said to me, "Sis, you don't need to apologize to me. You just need to get well for me. I went to my hiding place and cried. Him as sick as he was and he wanted me to get well. I will always remember how he always smiled no matter how sick he was. How he always thought of you first no matter how sick he was. He will always remain dear to my heart. Love you Uncle Eddie.

There has hardly been a day gone by over the last 57 years that I haven't thought about my best friend in elementary school. We were inseperal as kids, best friends. I was so saddened to hear of your passing my old and cherished friend. You will be missed, but never forgotten. Jimmy (Jim) Jordan
