Funeral Service for Barbara Smart Lee, 74, of Sallisaw, Oklahoma will be at 1:00 PM on Thursday, September 10, 2020 at Faith Holiness Church in Westville, Oklahoma. Burial will follow at Westville City Cemetery in Westville, Oklahoma under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.
Barbara Smart Lee was born on November 1, 1945 in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma to George Jensen and Darlis Brown Jensen and went to her Heavenly reward on September 5, 2020.
She was the “baby” of six children: Jesse, Wanda, Betty, Doris Faye and W.F.
On August 5, 1961, she married Robert Smart and to this union of 40 years was added 4 children: Donna, Chris, Jason and Darla.
They spent their life evangelizing, pastoring and working in Christian Schools.
Her whole life was serving the Lord. Only July 3, 2020 was her 60th year celebrating her “new birth.” She always put her pennies in the birthday offering. This year she celebrated with church friends in her home.
In February 2006, Barbara extended her family when she married Herbert Lee, who had 3 children: Trica, Jeanette, Edward and their spouses, Tony and Mike, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She is survived by daughter, Donna Moore and husband Rocky; son, Chris and wife Vicky; son, Jason and wife Misti; daughter, Darla Pharr and husband Sam; 14 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
Preceding her in death is her parents, George and Darlis Jensen; 1st husband, Robert Smart; 2 brothers: Jesse and W.F. Jensen, 1 sister: Doris Faye; beloved niece, Brenda Horn; beloved grandson: Levi Smart; and 2nd husband: Herbert Lee.
Active Pallbearers will be Rusty Moore, Adam Smart, Abe Smart, Zane Pharr, John Firestone and Cole Lenington.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Bro. Vernon Auld, Mike Jensen, Bob Hines, Harold Lee, Wilburn Lee, Mike Tubbs and Tony Yates.
Viewing will be 1 – 8 PM Wednesday at Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Home in Sallisaw, OK.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Eastside Holiness Church Building Fund, P.O. Box 230, Muldrow, OK 74948. It was her desire to see them build a new church.
