Beatrice Jane Canada was born on June 8, 1947 in Sallisaw, Oklahoma to James and Dovie (Petree) Winkler. She passed from this life on December 26, 2021 in Fort Smith, Arkansas, at the age of 74.

She married Butch Canada on October 20, 1975 in Panama, Oklahoma. The enjoyed 38 years of marriage. He preceded her in death on December 3, 2013.

Bea was a cosmetologist. Her career spanned 44 years, and included managing and instructing in beauty schools in Chickasha, Poteau and Sallisaw.

She was a member of First Missionary Baptist Church in Sallisaw, OK.

She is survived by 2 daughters, Angela Kelley and husband, Dewayne, of War Eagle, AR and Janie Cheney and husband, Keith, of Sallisaw, OK; 2 sons, Harold Canada and wife, Robbie, of Mineral Wells, TX and Melvin Canada of Lincoln, AR; 6 grandchildren, Jeremy and wife, Alice, Marlena, Dustin, Raven, James and Carter; 5 great-grandchildren, Dominic, Jackson, Ezriel, Ryleigh and Aiden; 1 brother, Johnny Winkler of Roland, OK; 1 sister, Coleta Davis and husband, Tom, of Sallisaw, OK; and several nieces, nephews, and other loved ones.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Butch; parents; two sons, Kevin Canada and James Edwards; two brothers, Oren Winkler and James Winkler, Jr.; and one sister, Linda Jantz.
