Services for Bennie Gene Hight, 87 of Sallisaw, Oklahoma will be at 1 pm on Wednesday, August 1, 2018 at Watts Holiness Church in Sallisaw, Oklahoma. Burial will follow at Sallisaw City Cemetery in Sallisaw, Oklahoma under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.

He was born on September 16, 1930 in Paris, Arkansas to Ruby Katherine (Hamil) Hight and William Jacob Hight and passed away on July 29, 2018 in Sallisaw, Oklahoma. He was married to Velma Maeola (Brannam) Hight on November 14, 1948 in Sallisaw, Oklahoma. He was a construction worker and a Christian.

2 sons and 1 daughter in law: Danny and Carla Hight of Alma, AR and Denis Hight of Conway, AR

10 grandchildren: Shannon, Daniel, Tiffany, Mickey, Deidre, Kane, Andrea, Brittany, Alexis, C.J., and Tyler

14 great grandchildren and 1 on the way

1 brother and sister in law: J.J. and Mary Hight of Sallisaw, OK

2 sisters and 1 brother in law: June Dorsey of Verdigris, OK and Mary Lou and Clem Thompson of Sallisaw, OK

numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends

He was preceded in death his parents, William and Ruby Hight; 3 sisters, Louise Berg, Marcella Knight, and Nellie Sue Barger; 2 brothers, Byron Hight and Robert Hight; and great grandson, Noah Moore

Active Pallbearers will be C.J. Coe, Daniel Hight, Larry Bill Hight, Bruce Hight, Devin Guthrie, and Darrie Guthrie

Honorary Pallbearers will be Tyler Bryant, Blake Davenport, Doug Bane, and Harrell Lee

Viewing will be Tuesday from 10 am – 8 pm at Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Home in Sallisaw.
The family will greet Tuesday from 6 – 8 pm at the funeral home.
