Graveside services for Bert Caves, 58 of Sallisaw, Oklahoma will be at 11:00 am on Wednesday, February 20, 2019 at Copeland Cemetery, south of Sallisaw, Oklahoma under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.
He was born on October 20, 1960 in Sallisaw, Oklahoma to Christine Hughes Caves and Herbert Eugene Caves and passed away on February 14, 2019 in Sallisaw, Oklahoma. Mr. Caves was a construction worker for Jensen Construction and a U.S. Army Veteran.

Survivors are:

1 daughter: Melissa and husband: Nathan Griffin of Sallisaw, OK;

2 sons: Jeremiah and wife: Felisha Caves of Ft. Smith, AR and Jake and wife: Jolee Caves of Sallisaw, OK;

6 grandchildren;

3 sisters: Letha Mainus of Oklahoma City, OK, Julie Girty of Sallisaw, OK and Connie Meginnes of Little Rock, AR;

1 brother: Phillip Caves of Sallisaw, OK;

several nieces, nephews, cousins other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 brothers: Stephen Caves and Billy Caves and 1 sister: Kathy Caves.

Active pallbearers will be Zakry Griffin, Martin Morris, Ragon Caves, Stevie Morris, Craig Lee and Michael Girty.

Viewing will be 1 – 8 pm Tuesday at Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Home in Sallisaw, OK where the family will greet 6 – 8 pm.
