Bertha Cowart, 71 of Gore, Oklahoma passed away on July 27, 2021 in Gore, Oklahoma. Cremation is under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.

She was born on January 19, 1950 in Blackgum community, Oklahoma to Lillian Virginia (Fields) Cowart and Kenneth Clyde Cowart . Mrs. Cowart was a registered nurse.

Survivors are:

Three sons: Nelson Lehnick of Franklinville, NC, Jamie Lehnick, a 30 year Navy Veteran, of Virginia Beach, VA and Kelly Lehnick of Muldrow, OK;

Eleven grandchildren;

Two great grandchildren;

Five sisters: Geri Lackey of Vian, OK, Judy Cowart of Vian, OK, Patsy Carlton of Vian, OK, Gayla Moore of Wagoner, OK and Destiny Knight of Galveston, TX;

Two brothers: Kenneth Cowart of Vian, OK and LeRoy Cowart of Vian, OK;

Several nieces, nephews, cousins other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, 5 sisters: Helen Dearman, Nita Sutton, Rena Cowart, Deloris Cowart and Peggy Vastine, and 1 grandson: Justin Lehnick.
