Services for Bessie Harris, 85 of Sallisaw, OK will be at 1:00 pm on Tuesday, June 5, 2018 at Agent Mallory Martin Chapel in Sallisaw, OK. Burial will follow at Sallisaw City Cemetery in Sallisaw, OK under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.

She was born on October 1, 1932 in Sallisaw, OK to Mattie Lou Atkerson Caves and William Floyd “Bege” Caves and passed away on May 31, 2018 in Pocola, Oklahoma. She was a door greeter at Walmart and worked various jobs at Blue Ribbon Downs.

Survivors are:

5 daughters: Phyllis Pozdoll of Steger, IL, Pam Davis of Sallisaw, OK,
Janet Marshall of Fayetteville, AR, Regina Starr of Mt. Juliet, TN,
and Renee Cavin of Sallisaw, OK

17 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren

several other relatives and friends

She was preceded in death by her parents; 1 daughter, Brenda Kaye Wilder; 2 brothers and 2 sisters; and 1 grandson

Honorary Pallbearers will be her grandsons.

Viewing will be 1 – 8 pm Monday at Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Home in Sallisaw, OK. The family will greet 6 – 8 Monday at the funeral home
