Bessie (Crabtree) Reed

Memorial Service for Bessie (Crabtree) Reed, 72, of Sallisaw, Oklahoma, will be announced at a later date and time in August. Cremation is under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.

She was born on December 23, 1951 in Fort Smith, Arkansas to Ellen (Campbell) Waltermire and Millard Crabtree and passed away on July 30, 2024 in Sallisaw, Oklahoma. 

Survivors are one son, Robert Turner of Fort Smith, AR; siblings, James Crabtree and Judy of Sallisaw, OK, Floyd Crabtree of Louisiana, Rocky Waltermire of Sallisaw, Oscar "Gene" Waltermire and Gwenda of Sallisaw, Scotty Waltermire of Sallisaw, OK and Martha Loper and John of Louisiana; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her father, Millard Crabtree; mother, Ellen Waltermire; one son, Daniel Turner; two brothers, Tommy Sea and Jess Crabtree; and two sisters, Ollie Cunningham and Louise Cunningham.
