She was born on April 19, 1943 in Deer Run, West Virginia to Emma Francis (Sirk) Freed and Jessie Howard Freed and passed away on February 21, 2024 in Fort Smith, Arkansas. She was a homemaker.

Survivors are companion, Bill Farkas of Muldrow, OK; two daughters, Jenise Seagraves and Lester of Panama, OK and Brenda Borel and Ray of Corning, CA; three sons, Rory Mandelke and Violetta of Germantown, MD, Michael Sandstoe and Karen of Jefferson, MD and Patrick Sandstoe and Paula of Hagerstown, MD; 17 grandchildren and 32 great-grandchildren; three sisters, Sara Cookman of Palm Dessert, CA, Edna Franchino of Roland, OK and Sally Lutz of Rockville, MD; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and six siblings.
