Betty (Srygley) Christian

Graveside Service for Betty Christian, 82, of Vian, Oklahoma, formerly of Memphis, Texas, will be at 2:00 PM on Friday, February 16, 2024 at Dreamland Cemetery in Turkey, Texas under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.

Betty Christian was born on March 3, 1941 in Memphis, Texas to Lizzie (Vaughn) Srygley and R.D. Srygley and passed away on February 6, 2024 in Vian, Oklahoma. She was married to Glynn Christian, of Turkey, TX. She was a former Registered Nurse at Hall County Hospital and of the Baptist faith. She loved her grandchildren, dogs, reading and spending time with her family.

Survivors are one daughter, D’Lynn Armstrong and Richard of the home; one son, Robert Christian of Hammond, LA; eight grandchildren, Ruth Ann “Rudi” Perrault and Dain, Duncan Baker Armstrong, Alexa Brooke Armstrong, Rebekah Grace Christian, Marcus Glen Armstrong, John Glynn Christian, Mathew Luke Christian and Gabriel Michael Christian; two nieces, Twana Stewart and Angie Larson; one nephew, Willie Rhoades; and numerous other nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Glynn; her sister, Wanda Maxine Rhoades; and an infant brother, Royce Dale Srygley;

Viewing will be 10 am – 1 pm Friday, February 16, 2024 at Robertson Funeral Home in Memphis, Texas.
