Funeral Service for Betty Jean Montgomery, 83, of Sallisaw, Oklahoma will be at 10:00 AM on Monday, June 22, 2020 at Round Mountain Church in Gore, Oklahoma. Burial will follow at Round Mountain Cemetery in Gore, Oklahoma under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.

She was born on January 14, 1937 in Greenfield, Indiana to Frances (Boring) Pyles and William Windel Pyles and passed away on June 17, 2020 in Sallisaw, Oklahoma. She was married to James Donald Montgomery on December 29, 1967 in North Bend, Washington. She was a bookkeeper and of the Pentecostal faith.

Survivors are:

Husband: James Montgomery of the home;

children: Terry Montgomery of Vancouver, WA, Elizabeth Ann Helsley of Indiana, Lisa Maridonn Long of Sallisaw, OK, Mark Alan Busby of Sallisaw, OK;

50 grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren;

1 sister: Ruth Ann Pierson of Indiana;

1 brother: Robert William Pyles of Indiana;

She was preceded by sons, James Jr., Michael Busby; and 1 daughter, Rhonda Kay Morgan.

Active Pallbearers will be Tanner Gil, John Weber, William Weber, Kiowa Coffman, Mark Busby II and Noah Cogar.

Viewing will be 4 – 8 PM Friday, 10 AM – 4 PM Saturday, and 2 – 8 PM Sunday at Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Home in Sallisaw, OK where the family will greet.
