Betty Lou Plank

Funeral services for Betty Lou Plank, 87, of Muldrow, Oklahoma, will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday, February 24, 2025, at Mineral Springs Freewill Baptist Church in Muldrow, Oklahoma. Burial will follow at Blackjack Cemetery in Muldrow under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.

Betty was born on January 18, 1938, in Tuskegee, Oklahoma, to Lucy Alva (Hatfield) Massey and Floyd Everett Massey. She passed away on February 19, 2025, in Fort Smith, Arkansas. She married Bobby Jack Plank on November 2, 1959, in Stilwell, Oklahoma, who preceded her in death on February 22, 1999.

Mrs. Plank led a dedicated work life, often juggling multiple jobs. Her extensive career included positions at Muldrow Nutrition Center, St. Edward's Hospital, Fort Smith Courthouse, Peachtree Retirement Village, OK Foods, the Food Court at the mall, and nearly 40 years at Dixie Cup. She had a deep love for attending church and cherished spending time dining out.

Betty is survived by three daughters, Linda Dee Blake, Pamela Kay Plank, and Whitley Plank, all of Muldrow, OK; three sons, Randy, Roger, and Jason Cole Plank, also of Muldrow, OK; 14 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren; one sister, Marilyn Sue Fultz and her husband Kenny; one brother, Jimmy Massey; along with other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, one son, Bobby Don Plank; one grandson, Josh Blake; five brothers, Bud, Floyd, Dennis, Wayne, and Bobby Massey; and three sisters, Joyce Binkley, Rancy Hughes, and Virginia Massey.

Active pallbearers will be Justin Plank, Jess Plank, Randall Plank, B.J. Nichols, Jaden Plank, and Kaegen Lewis. Honorary pallbearers will be the Men of Mineral Springs Freewill Baptist Church.

Viewing will take place from 2 PM to 8 PM on Sunday at Agent Mallory Martin Chapel in Muldrow, where the family will be present to greet visitors from 6 PM to 8 PM.
