Betty Strider

Betty Strider, 83, of Sallisaw, Oklahoma, passed away on November 20, 202. Cremation is under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.

Betty was born on August 25, 1941, in Keiser, Arkansas, to Ruby Jane (Lucy) Lowe and Harry Doc Baker. She worked as a material manager Walmart and had a passion for sewing. Betty cherished spending time with her family and was known for being a wonderful mom and a great cook.

She is survived by her four daughters, Jackie Farrington of Louisiana, Mikey Rose of Florida, Tammy Lynn of Colorado and Sandra Arwood of Sallisaw, OK; two sons, Jimmy Strider and Tonya of New Mexico and Shannon Strider of Oregon; Betty also leaves behind three grandchildren, Megan Arwood, Sarah McGill, and Chance Harl, along with five great-grandchildren: Hayden, Landon, Payton, Brooklyn, and Isaiah. Additionally, she is survived by her sister, Margie Whisenant from Holiday, Texas, five brothers, Ronnie Lowe of Sallisaw, OK Randy Lowe and DeLaine of Sallisaw, OK, Bob, Jimmy, and Geary Baker, all of Arizona and numerous other relatives and friends.

Betty was preceded in death by her parents and her sisters, Connie Baker and Carol Church, as well as her brothers, Lynn and Kim Lowe.
