Funeral Service for Betty Jo Gage Thompson, 89 of Roland, Oklahoma will be at 10:00 AM on Monday, March 31, 2025 at Roland Pentecostal Church in Roland, Oklahoma. Burial will follow at Roland City Cemetery in Roland, Oklahoma under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.

She was born on October 6, 1935 in Waldron, Arkansas to Iva Mae (Maxell) Watts and William Henry Watts and passed away on March 26, 2025 in Roland, Oklahoma. Mrs. Thompson owned and operated Gold Mart Jewelry and also worked at Riverside Furniture.

Survivors are one daughter, Nancy Dewitt and Darrell of Roland, OK; four sons, Robert Efurd and Susan of Chelsea, OK, John Efurd and Patricia Bear of Oklahoma, Larry Efurd and Susan of Van Buren, AR and Richard Gage and Crystal of Roland, OK; 14 grandchildren, Hattie Hamilton, Jade Blode, Jacklynn Burrell, Spencer Dewitt, Jenna Dewitt, Gerald Efurd, Steven Efurd, Shanda Demoure, Shannon Strohmeyer, Ricky Efurd, Kelly Heavener, Hunter Gage, Kimblerly Norman and Logan Norman; 24 great-grandchildren with two on the way and 2 great-great-grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; five sisters, Georgia Mae, Mary, Retha, Josephine and Lettie and one brother, Johnny.

Active Pallbearers will be Brad Tucker, Jade Blode, Jacklynn Burrell, Ricky Efurd, John Burrell, Kelly Heavener and Spencer Dewitt.

Viewing will be 9 am Monday before the service at the church.
