She was born on August 2, 1938 in Hanson, Oklahoma to Anna Leona (Sutton) Woodward and Welborn Baxter Woodward and passed away on July 7, 2023 in Claremore, Oklahoma. She was married to Floyd James Hendrix on March 19, 1955 in Sallisaw, Oklahoma. He preceded her in death on February 17, 2015 . Mrs. Betty Hendrix was a homemaker.
Survivors are two sons, Floyd James Hendrix Jr. and Kathryn of Coweta, OK, and Greg Hendrix of Claremore, OK; two grandchildren, Sean Hendrix and Lauren, Paul Hendrix and Cierra; lifelong friend, Melba Quinton, Barbara Hetley, and Vera Higgins; and several other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, sisters, Flossie Neal, Vivian Woodward, Lea Cheek, Laverne Fisher, and brothers, Euel, Owen, Aubrey, Johnnie, Ray, Fay, and Watie Woodward.
