Services for Bettye L. (Lively) Bean, 75, of Ft. Smith, Arkansas will be at 1:00 pm on March 6, 2018 at Church of Christ in Sallisaw, Oklahoma. Burial will follow at Sallisaw City Cemetery in Sallisaw, Oklahoma under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.

Bettye L. Lively Bean was born on November 7, 1942 in Bokoshe, Oklahoma to Wanda Alice (Hale) Lively and Jardie James “J.J.” Lively and passed away on March 2, 2018 in Ft. Smith, Arkansas. She was married to Doyle Bean on June 7, 1975 in Sallisaw, Oklahoma. She was a Retired Special Education Teacher and a member of the Church of Christ.

Survivors are:

Husband: Doyle of the home

1 daughter: LaDonna and husband, Dr. David Ford of Van Buren, AR

1 son: Bill Bean and Tammie of Ada, OK

4 grandchildren: Sydney Ford, Cara Ford, Sean Bean and Ella Ford

1 brother: Sam Lively and Debra of Fort Smith, AR

numerous nieces, nephews and a host of family and friends

She was preceded in death by her parents, 2 brothers, Glynn and Jerry Lively, and 1 sister, Phyllis Brown.

Active Pallbearers will be John Joplin, Rod Jones, Jerry Brown, Dr. David Ford, Sean Bean and Eric Lively.

Viewing will be Monday 10 am – 8 pm at Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Home in Sallisaw, Oklahoma. The family will greet Monday from 6 – 8 pm at the funeral home.
