Funeral Service for Bill Farney, 76, of Muldrow, Oklahoma will be at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, May 5, 2021 at Mineral Springs Freewill Baptist Church in Muldrow, Oklahoma. Burial will follow at Blackjack Cemetery in Muldrow, Oklahoma under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.

He was born on August 12, 1944 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to Opal (Andrews) Farney and Marion Cecil Farney, Sr. and passed away on May 1, 2021 in Muldrow, Oklahoma. He was married to Sharon (Sutton) Farney on June 1, 1962 in Stilwell, Oklahoma. He was a retired educator, coach and a member of Mineral Springs Freewill Baptist Church.

Survivors are:

wife: Sharon Farney of the home;

1 daughter: Tyffany Lewis of Roland, OK;

1 son: Stacy Farney and Lana of Muldrow, OK;

4 grandchildren: Ryan Farney of Little Rock, AR, Trenton Farney of Muldrow, OK, J. Tyler Keith and Cameron Keith both of Muldrow, OK;

2 brothers: Marion Cecil Farney, Jr. and Mary of Muldrow, OK and Freddie Andrews of Kentucky;

4 nieces: Shelly Bush, Sandra Mills, Tracy McKey and Dena Billington and Jason;

2 nephews: Craig Farney and Chad Sutton and Jennifer;

brother-in-law: David Mills of McAlester, OK;

sister-in-law: Viola Sutton of Muldrow, OK;

several other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Marion and Opal Farney; and his sister, Patricia Mills.

Active Pallbearers will be Ryan Farney, Trenton Farney, J. Tyler Farney, Chad Sutton, Landon Sutton and Reid Sutton.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Danny Mitchell, Gary Treat, John McCrea, Ben Daniels, Dewayne Roberts and Marty Horn.

Viewing will be 10 AM – 8 PM Tuesday at Agent Mallory Martin Chapel in Muldrow, OK.
