Graveside Service for Bill McHenry, 61, of Sallisaw, Oklahoma will be at 1:00 PM on Saturday, May 30, 2020 at Duncan Cemetery in Sallisaw, Oklahoma under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.

He was born on September 20, 1958 in Roswell, New Mexico to Gladys Loretta (Walters) McHenry and Lonnie Morgan McHenry and passed away on May 24, 2020 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He was married to Clara (Branham) McHenry on August 1, 1975 in Pineville, Missouri. He worked at many jobs including truck driving, oilfield, coal mining, station attendant and manager, construction and roofing. Eventually owning and operating his own roofing company. He worked his whole life for his family, whom he was very proud of. Anyone who knew him, knew that he was proud of his children and grandchildren. He loved them all dearly and took every opportunity to brag about them. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

Survivors are:

wife: Clara of the home;

children: Billy Jr. and wife Patty McHenry of Sallisaw, OK, Clint and wife Tess McHenry of Tulsa, OK, Amanda and husband Scott Sharp of Muldrow, OK, and Danial McHenry and fiance Ashleigh Sleiman of Jacksonville, FL;

grandchildren: Michael Trey McHenry of Baltimore, MD, Matthew Ty McHenry of Sallisaw, OK, Melanie and Makenzie McHenry of Sallisaw, OK, Brooklyn, Callie, and Grayson McHenry of Tulsa, OK;

2 brothers: Tommy McHenry of Van Buren, AR and Walter Dale McHenry of Bartlesville, OK;

2 sisters: Wilma Reynolds of New Mexico and Sharon Harl of Arkansas;

many other friends, family, nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents: Lonnie and Gladys McHenry; his father-in-law and mother-in-law: Clinton and Lorene Branham; 3 brothers: Jimmy, Larry, and Terry McHenry; 3 sisters: Betty, Janie, and Karen McHenry; grandson: Alexander Ray Jones (McHenry); and his lifelong friends: Danny Dodson and Tim and Rosa Streibeck.

Active Pallbearers will be Billy McHenry, Clint McHenry, Danial McHenry, Trey McHenry, Ty McHenry and Matt McHenry.

Viewing will be 10 AM – 8 PM Friday at Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Home in Sallisaw, OK where the family will greet.
