Graveside Service for Bill Ross, 92, of Gans, Oklahoma will be at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, January 17, 2023 at Akins Cemetery in Sallisaw, Oklahoma under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.
Bill was born on July 1, 1930 in Tuckerman, Arkansas to Grace (Prince) Ross and Benjamin Ross and passed away on January 10, 2023 in Gans, Oklahoma. He was married to Violet Easter (Brewer) Ross on August 28, 1950. She preceded him in death on March 2001. He worked in hospital maintenance and was of the Christian faith.
Survivors are two sons and daughters-in-law, Billy Gene Ross and Barbara of Vian, OK and Bruce Ross and Robbie of Roland, OK; eight grandchildren, Misty Sloan and Joe, Steven Ross and Jennifer, Michael Wilson, Presley Wilson and Melanie, Thomas Ross and Terri, Mary Butterfield and Adam, Alisha Bentley and Caleb, and Tyler Ross and Kayla; 29 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild; and numerous other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his wife; parents; and one brother, Frank Ross.
Viewing will be 10 AM – 8 PM Monday at Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Home in Sallisaw, OK where the family will greet 6 – 8 PM.
