Billy Jack Brooks

Billy Jack Brooks, age 46, of Roland, Oklahoma, passed away on March 23, 2025, in Fort Smith, Arkansas. He was born on June 21, 1978, in Fort Smith to Charletta Ruth (Thornburg) Brooks and Jackie Edwin Brooks. He worked in the tire business and was of the Church of Christ faith.

He is survived by his daughter, Zoey Brooks of Fort Smith, Arkansas; father, Jackie Brooks of Roland, Oklahoma; sister, Charlene Brooks of Muldrow, Oklahoma; his nephew, Tylar Jeremiah; his grandmothers, Vida Brooks of Roland, Oklahoma and Edna Vann of Muldrow, Oklahoma; along with several other relatives and friends.

Billy was preceded in death by his mother, Charletta Brooks; and his grandfather, Billy Ed Brooks.

Friends and family are invited to pay their respects during the viewing, which will be held on Tuesday, March 25, 2025, from Noon to 8 PM at Agent Mallory Martin Chapel in Muldrow, Oklahoma. The funeral service in honor of his life will take place at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, March 26, 2025, at the Roland Church of Christ in Roland, Oklahoma, followed by burial at the Roland City Cemetery.

Active pallbearers will include Scotty McGuire, Freddy Lewis, Gerrod Lewis, Tommy Roberts, Jr., J.D. Barrow, and Chad Simpson. Serving as an honorary pallbearer is Riley Brooks.

Billy Jack Brooks will be deeply missed, but his memory will continue to shine brightly in the hearts of all who knew him.
