Billy John Steffey

Billy John Steffey, 85 of Sallisaw, Oklahoma passed away January 6, 2019 in Ft. Smith, Arkansas.
He was born on March 7, 1933 in Wideners Valley, Virginia to Lucy (Widener) Steffey and Hyden Charles Steffey.  He married Eldeva Hobby Steffey on May 28, 1961 in Blanding, Utah.  He was an U.S. Navy Veteran, lineman and a member of the First Baptist Church in Sallisaw, OK.

Survivors are:

wife: Eldeva of the home

2 daughters: Rhonda Woodward and James of Greer, South Carolina and Martha Jacob and John of Hollis, New Hampshire

son: John Steffey and Andrea of Owasso, OK

5 grandchildren

2 great grandchildren

several other relatives and friends

He was preceded in death by his parents and 2 brothers, Tony Michael Steffey and Charles Bud Steffey.

Services in Damascus, Virginia and burial at Wideners Valley Cemetery will be under the direction of Farris Funeral Service in Abingdon, Virginia. Local arrangements by Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.
