Funeral Service for Billy Jr. Sevenstar, 80, of Muldrow, Oklahoma will be at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, October 22, 2019 at Fellowship Baptist Church in Nicut, Oklahoma. Burial will follow at Belfonte Cemetery in Muldrow, Oklahoma under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.

He was born on July 5, 1939 in Tahlequah, Oklahoma to Emma (Polecat) Sevenstar and Richard Sevenstar and passed away on October 17, 2019 in Ft. Smith, Arkansas. He was married to Ruth Soap Sevenstar on March 15, 1960 in Stilwell, Oklahoma. She preceded him in death on June 28, 2019. He formerly worked in construction, was a Cherokee Gospel Singer and loved to play his guitar. He was a member of Belfonte Baptist Church.

Survivors are:

3 daughters: Margaret Bird, Jackie Sevenstar and Lisa Sevenstar;

2 sons: Junior Lee Sevenstar and Bobby Sevenstar;

3 sisters: Anna Louise Vann, Margie Eagle and Irene Starr;

2 brothers: Martin Sevenstar of Van Buren, AR and Donald Lee Sevenstar of Muldrow, OK;

10 grandchildren: Isaac Sevenstar, Crystal Bird, Robin Bird, Connor Bird, Megan Pratt, Jerome Sevenstar, Lula Sevenstar, Victor Sevenstar, Brandon Sevenstar and Tyrone Sevenstar;

28 great grandchildren;

1 great great granddaughter on the way;

several nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents: Emma Polecat and Richard Sevenstar, wife: Ruth Soap Sevenstar, 1 brother: Dave and 1 daughter: Jill.

Active Pallbearers will be Connor Bird, Isaac Sevenstar, Jerome Sevenstar, Bill Soap, Michael Griffith and Chad Pratt.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Larry Bird, Ken Sturm, Junior Lee Sevenstar, Bobby Sevenstar, Chris Vann, Tyler Hodges, Donald Lee Sevenstar, Levi Eagle and John Lee Soap.

Viewing will be 10 AM – 8 PM Monday at Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Home in Sallisaw, Oklahoma.
