Graveside Service for Billy M. Fricks, 90, of Muldrow, Oklahoma will be at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, May 4, 2022 at U.S. National Cemetery in Fort Smith, Arkansas under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.
Billy M. Fricks was born on January 11, 1932 in Sand Mountain, Alabama to Ella (Story) Frix and Jessie Lee Frix. He met his Lord and Savior on April 30, 2022 at his home in Muldrow, Oklahoma.
After graduating high school in Albertville, Alabama he joined the United States Air Force. In 1953, he met his wife, Helen J. Allaman, in Salina, Kansas, where they married on July 15, 1955. They moved many times over the 22 years that he served in the Air Force. Billy worked on B-29, B-52 and Hound Dog Missiles S.A.C. He retired from the military in 1973 and they moved to Muldrow, Oklahoma.
After finding a home in Muldrow, he purchased land and started his cattle herd. Billy was hard worker, if he didn’t know how to do something he would figure it out. He would often quote, “I’m not going to work this hard all my life” and then he would laugh.
Billy loved his wife, his children, grandchildren and his great-grandchildren. He enjoyed being out with his cattle and being outdoors. He will be greatly missed by all.
