Billy Ray 'Ea' Dyer

Funeral service for Billy Ray “EA” Dyer , 62 of Sallisaw, Oklahoma will be at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, December 28, 2022 at Kingdom Builders Church in Sallisaw, Oklahoma. Burial will follow at Cottonwood Cemetery in Muldrow, Oklahoma under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.

He was born on November 6, 1960 in Fort Smith, Arkansas to Barbara Sue (Jones) Dyer and William Dale Dyer and passed away on December 9, 2022 in Muskogee, Oklahoma. He was married to Shirley Diane (Riddle) Dyer on February 4, 1977 in Roland, Oklahoma. He worked for United Rental and was a certified ASE (Automotive Service Excellence) Masters Tech for over 35 years. He was a volunteer firefighter and first responder for the Marble City Fire Department, a drummer for the gospel group, Fairhaven, and a firefighter for the Air National Guard. Billy was a loving husband and caregiver to his wife, Diane. He was a proud and loving father, grandfather, son and brother. He enjoyed racing at Tri-State Speedway and a huge OU Sooner Fan.

Survivors are wife, Shirley Diane of the home; three sons, Marshall and Stephanie Dyer of Sallisaw, OK, Jeremy and Trista Dyer of Sallisaw, OK and Aaron and Noel Dyer of Sallisaw, OK; 13 grandchildren; three sisters, Tammy and Van Peer of Lavaca, AR, Sandy and Rodney Dilbeck of Nicut, OK and Leslie Hoffman of Van Buren, AR; and many other family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Barbara Sue Dyer; father, William “Bill” Dyer; step-mother, Wilma Dyer; and two brothers, Gary Dyer and Kendall Dyer.

Active Pallbearers will be Jeremy Dyer, Aaron Dyer, Pam Dyer, Kendall Dyer, Joshua Dyer, Robert Murphy, Steven Murphy and Canaan Dilbeck.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Co-Workers at United Rental, Tri-State Speedway, Trey Carter, Jeremy Holt, Mark Small, Dathan Dilbeck and his grandchildren.

Viewing will be 10 am – 8 pm Tuesday at Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Home in Sallisaw where the family will greet 6 – 8 pm.
