Services for Bobbie Janelle (Woody) Gordon, 78 of Long community, Oklahoma will be at 10 am on Saturday, November 17, 2018 at New Hope Baptist Church in Muldrow, Oklahoma. Burial will follow at Long Cemetery in Muldrow, Oklahoma under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.
She was born on February 28, 1940 in Long community, Oklahoma to Vela Bitha (Tabor) Woody and Jim Woody and passed away on November 14, 2018 in Vian, Oklahoma. She was married to John Alfred Gordon on September 21, 1957 in Stilwell, Oklahoma. He preceded her in death on May 27, 2018. She was a homemaker.

Survivors are:

4 daughters and sons in law: Kathy and Roy Coleman of Long, OK, Angie and Rick Morris of Long, OK, Kaeley and Brandon Just of Muldrow, OK, and Shelly and Jesse Nelke of Long, OK

3 sons and 2 daughters in law: Doug and Janice Gordon of Roland, OK, Michael Gordon of Afton, OK and Hal and Christi Gordon of Panama, OK

10 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren

2 sisters and 1 brother in law: Lahoma Bigby of Tahlequah, OK and Judy and Chuck Eklund of Roland, OK

2 brothers and 1 sister in law: Jerry Woody of Sallisaw, OK and Randy and Michelle Woody of Long, OK

numerous other relatives and friends

She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, 3 sisters: Kay Stevens, Jeannye Cowans and Marcedith Martin

Active pallbearers will be Roy Coleman, Jesse Nelke, Rick Morris, Chandler Gordon, Brandon Just, Stevie Astre.

Viewing will be 10 am – 8 pm Friday at Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Home in Sallisaw, OK where the family will greet 6 – 8 pm.
