Funeral Service for Bobby G. Rogers, 81, of Roland, Oklahoma will be at 9:00 AM on Wednesday, August 11, 2021 at First Assembly of God Church in Muldrow, Oklahoma. Burial will follow at Lee’s Chapel Cemetery in Muldrow, Oklahoma under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.

He was born on September 1, 1939 in Gans, Oklahoma to Jewell Mable (Butcher) Rogers and Herman Jasper Rogers and passed away on August 8, 2021 in Fort Smith, Arkansas. He was married to Wanda (George) Rogers on August 6, 1959 in Sallisaw, Oklahoma. He retired from Riverside Furniture after 39 years as a supervisor then worked for Roland Public Schools for 16 years until his retirement there. He was a member of Vision of the Way Fellowship Church.

Survivors are:

Wife: Wanda of the home;

Daughter: Donna Hall and Dennis of Muldrow, OK;

2 Sons: Scott Rogers and Melanie of Saddleback Ranch, OK and Brig Rogers and Becki of Roland, OK;

8 Grandchildren: Jamie Hall of Fort Smith, AR, Payne Hall of Spiro, OK, Tara Rogers of Dequeen, AR, Chelsee Rogers of Fayetteville, AR, Drew Rogers Cave Springs, AR, Courtney Redden of Roland, OK, Derek Rogers of Wilburton, OK and Jade Rogers of Roland, OK;

7 Great-Grandchildren: Valley, Lenox, Gavin, Avery, Zuri, Kayden and Lillian;

2 Sisters: Pat Miller of Sallisaw, OK and Phyllis Stephenson and Roy of Gans, OK;

4 Brothers: Carroll Rogers and Mayme of Gans, OK, Jerry Rogers and Cindy of Sallisaw, OK, Dwight Rogers and Zoella of Sallisaw, OK and Ronnie Rogers and Cindy of Muskogee, OK;

Numerous other nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Herman Rogers, Jr.

Active Pallbearers will be Drew Rogers, Kayden Rogers, Payne Hall, Gavin Murphy, Nathan Ulmer, Christopher Stephenson, Ben Daniel and Shannon Daniel.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Derek Rogers, Courtney Redden and Vision of the Way Sunday School Class.

Viewing and Visitation will be 10 AM – 2 PM Tuesday at Agent Mallory Martin Chapel in Muldrow, OK and 4 – 8 PM Tuesday at First Assembly of God Church in Muldrow, OK where the family will greet 6 – 8 PM.
