Bonnie G. (Duvall) Keener

Funeral service for Bonnie Keener, 91 of Sallisaw, Oklahoma will be at 10:00 AM on Monday, March 27, 2023 at Church of Christ in Sallisaw, Oklahoma. Burial will follow at Sallisaw City Cemetery in Sallisaw, Oklahoma under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.

She was born on December 11, 1931 in Atkins, Arkansas to Elsie (Clemmons) Duvall and Herbert Duvall and passed away on March 23, 2023 in Sallisaw, Oklahoma. She was married to W.B. Keener on March 14, 1952 in Atkins, Arkansas. He preceded her in death on June 8, 2016. Mrs. Keener was a retired Walmart cashier and a member of the Church of Christ. She enjoyed quilting, puzzling and adored her family and grandchildren.

Survivors are two daughters, Carol Franklin of Conway, AR and Kimberly Rider and husband, Bill of Sallisaw, OK; one son, Keith Keener and wife, Kelly of Alma, AR; three grandchildren, Kelsey Harwell and husband, Caleb, Kate Keener, and Lindsey Rider and fiancé, Caleb Gowen; and other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; and two sisters, Wilma Fay Cole and Mary Sue Duvall.

Active Pallbearers will be Keith Keener, Bill Rider, John Stewart, Caleb Gowen, Caleb Harwell and Jimmy Dodson.

Honorary Pallbearer will be Mark Darnell.

Viewing will be 10 am – 6 pm Saturday and 2 – 8 pm Sunday at Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Home in Sallisaw where the family will greet 3 – 5 pm Sunday.
