Funeral Service for Bonnie Kay (Porter) Bozarth, 70, of Sallisaw, Oklahoma will be at 10:00 AM on Monday, March 4, 2024 at Agent Mallory Martin Chapel in Sallisaw, Oklahoma. Burial will follow at Sallisaw City Cemetery in Sallisaw, Oklahoma under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.
She was born on March 18, 1953 in Pottstown, Pennsylvania to Marion and George Porter and passed away on February 22, 2024 in Sallisaw, Oklahoma. At the age of five the family moved to San Diego, California. She worked at Clock Factory and was a bartender. She enjoyed riding Harley Davidson Motorcycles, scuba diving, mountain climbing, camping and sand buggies in the desert. She met her husband, John, in 1978 and moved to Oklahoma in 1980. She worked as a waitress and an office manager. Bonnie took part in March of Dimes Walk-a-Thons and won awards for the most miles. She enjoyed Oklahoma camping and four-wheeling. She always had a hug for everyone.
Survivors are husband, John of the home; one daughter, Desiree Bozarth of Sallisaw, OK; three grandchildren, Stormy Nakedhead Thomas, Cloud Nakedhead and Brody Cheater; one sister, Carol Oelschlager of Pennsylvania; and several other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Ramon, Frank and Donnie; one sister, Linda; and her four-legged companion, Rosebud Bozarth.
Active Pallbearers will be Stormy Thomas, Steven Thomas, Cloud Nakedhead, Corey Nakedhead, Justin Sells and John Watson.
