Funeral service for Bonnie Pigeon Kirk, 73 of Marble City, Oklahoma will be at 10:00 AM on Saturday, February 22, 2020 at Stokes Smith Ceremonial Grounds in Sallisaw, Oklahoma. Burial will follow at Bush Cemetery in Sallisaw, Oklahoma under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.
She was born on August 20, 1946 in Tahlequah, Oklahoma to Maude (Bush) Pigeon and Levi Pigeon and passed away on February 19, 2020 in Marble City, Oklahoma. She was married to Tony Kirk on September 1, 1970 in Poteau, Oklahoma. Mrs. Kirk was a teachers aide for Marble City School and a member of Keetoowah Nighthawk Society.
Survivors are:
husband: Tony of the home;
2 sons: Vince Kirk and Tianyi of Seattle, WA and Wyman Kirk and Holly of Tahlequah, OK;
2 grandchildren: Hondo Kirk and Levi Kirk;
2 sisters: Betty Horsechief of Dallas, TX and Wanda Byrd and George of Marble City, OK;
2 brothers: Raymond Pigeon and Loretta of Sallisaw, OK and Levi Pigeon and Sharon of DeQueen, AR;
numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents and 3 brothers: Squirrel Fields, Charles Snow Fields and Billy Joe Fields.
Active Pallbearers will be Chris Bush, L.S. Fields, Scott Horsechief, Page Horsechief, Jeremy Mounce, Matt Anderson and Howard Paden.
Viewing will be 3 – 8 PM Friday at Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Home in Sallisaw, OK where the family will greet 6 – 8 pm.
