He was born on May 16, 1932 in El Centro, California to Carrie Callie (Tagg) Horton and Buck Horton, Sr. and passed away on August 26, 2021 in Sallisaw, Oklahoma. He was married to Junaita (Wilson) Horton on April 17, 1954 in Porterville, California. She preceded him in death on January 23, 2014. Mr. Horton was a diesel mechanic, worked in the oil fields and was a U.S. Army Veteran of Korean War

1 son: Richard Horton of Tulare, CA;

4 grandchildren: Jackie Morrow, Jeremiah Horton, Moriah Bonilla and Stephanie Whittington;

4 great-grandchjldren: Isaih Bonilla, Noah Bonilla, Dean Whittington and Kellen Whittington;

1 sister: Carolyn Pond of Arkansas, KS;

1 brother: John Horton of Oregon;

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife; and several sisters and brothers.
