Callie Mae Sevenstar, 75, of the Belfonte community in Oklahoma, passed away on November 12 2024, in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Born on August 21, 1949, in Stilwell, Oklahoma, she was the daughter of Emma (Proctor) Mink and Frank Mink.
Callie married Wayne Sevenstar in July 1967 and dedicated her life to being a loving homemaker, nurturing her family throughout the years. She is survived by her beloved husband, Wayne; two daughters, Lola Sevenstar of Muldrow and Monica Sevenstar of Belfonte; and two sons, Franklin Sevenstar and wife Laurie of Muldrow and Michael Sevenstar and wife Marie of Muldrow. Callie was also a proud grandmother to nine grandchildren and treasured great-grandmother to eleven great-grandchildren.
She is remembered fondly by her two sisters, Glenda Mink of Stilwell and Rita Benoit and husband Chris of Weleetka, as well as her five brothers, Walter, Melvin, David and wife Jackie, Dennis, and Daniel Mink, all of Stilwell. In addition to her immediate family, Callie leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends who will greatly miss her presence.
Callie was preceded in death by her son, Bradford Sevenstar; her parents; and an infant brother.
A funeral service to honor her life will be held at 1:00 PM on Monday, November 18, 2024, at the Agent Mallory Martin Chapel in Muldrow, Oklahoma, with burial following at Rock Fence Cemetery in Stilwell.
Viewing will take place from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Sunday, with the family welcoming friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the chapel.
Active pallbearers will include Teddy Honeycutt, Bradley Sevenstar, Frankie Sevenstar, Jon Sevenstar, Kalen Sevenstar and Shane Dye.
Honorary Pallbearer will be Cameron Sevenstar.
Callie Mae Sevenstar's warmth, kindness, and dedication to her family will always be cherished and remembered.
