Calvin Eagle

Funeral Service for Calvin Eagle, 55 of Belfonte community, Oklahoma will be at 2:00 PM on Monday, October 2, 2023 at Belfonte Baptist Church in Muldrow, Oklahoma. Burial will follow at Belfonte Cemetery in Muldrow, Oklahoma under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.

He was born on November 25, 1967 in Tahlequah, Oklahoma to Yvonne (Coleman) Eagle and Bird Eagle and passed away on September 25, 2023 in Fort Smith, Arkansas. He worked as a Cherokee Fire Dancer in Tahlequah for 11 years and was in the Forestry Division in Sallisaw for three years. He was also a volunteer firefighter for Nicut Fire Department.

Survivors are his mother, Yvonne Eagle of the home; one sister, Ramona Eagle of the home; three nieces, Amber London, Jessica Williams and Casey Flies; one special niece, Adrienne Rogers; five nephews, Dillon Eagle, Trey Jordan, Cody Bain, Nick Bain and Justin Williams; and several other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Bird Eagle; two sisters, Valerie and Joyce; and one brother, Larry.

Active Pallbearers will be Dillon, Cody, Randy, Don Paul Mathews, John Flies and Lee Eagle.

Honorary Pallbearers will be The Nicut Fire Department.

Viewing will be noon – 8 PM Saturday at Agent Mallory Martin Chapel in Muldrow.
