Carline (Emerson) Taylor

Funeral service for Carline Taylor, 84 of Marble City, Oklahoma will be at 2:00 PM on Friday, May 5, 2023 at Agent Mallory Martin Chapel in Sallisaw, Oklahoma. Burial will follow at Marble City Cemetery in Marble City, Oklahoma under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.

She was born on March 19, 1939 in Sallisaw, Oklahoma to Florence (Hensley) Emerson and Curtis Emerson and passed away on April 28, 2023 in Muskogee, Oklahoma. She was married to William “Bill” Taylor on October 28, 1955 in Burns Flat, Oklahoma. He preceded her in death on November 26, 2018. Mrs. Taylor was a nurses aid.

Survivors are two daughters, Donna Kilgore of Stilwell, OK and Dana Haney of Gore, OK; two sons: David Taylor of Ames, Iowa and Derrall Taylor of Marble City, OK; 12 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild; and several other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; two sisters, Wanda and Pauline; five brothers, Thurman, Gene, Kenneth, James and Keith and 1 granddaughter, Amber Dawn Taylor Craighead.

Active Pallbearers will be Billy Haney, Michael Haney, Derrall Taylor, Cody Taylor, David Taylor and David Taylor Jr.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Jessy Haney and Clay Taylor.

Viewing will be 1 – 8 pm Thursday at Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Home in Sallisaw where the family will greet 6 – 8.
