She was born on December 27, 1943 in Fresno, California to Myrtle Kester Watkins and Virgil Watkins and passed away on April 18, 2019 in Ft. Smith, Arkansas. She was married to Earnest Bowden on March 31, 1962 in Stilwell, Oklahoma. Mrs. Bowden was a homemaker.

Survivors are:

husband: Earnest of the home;

1 daughter: LaVonda Corbit and husband: Lester of Muldrow, OK;

2 sons: Earnest “E.T.” Bowden and wife: Daphne of Muldrow, OK and Randy Bowden and wife: Trish of Muldrow, OK;

7 Grandchildren: Dillon, Whitney, Allison, Jaemon, Ashley, Ruben and Jeannie;

3 great grandchildren: Aiden, Azaela and Stormy Ray;

1 sister: Martha Pratt of Muldrow, OK;

2 brothers: Kenny Watkins of Sallisaw, OK and Freddy Watkins of Roland, OK;

several nieces, nephews, cousins other relatives and friends

She was preceded in death by her parents

Active pallbearers will be Tony Lewis, Dillon Corbit, Jaemon Christie, Lester Corbit, Richard Hunter and Vernon Davis.

Honorary pallbearers will be will be Kendal Watkins, Michael Watkins, Lloyd Hunt and James Sheppard.

Viewing will be 3 – 8 PM Monday at Agent Mallory Martin Chapel in Muldrow, OK where the family will greet 6 – 8 PM.
