Funeral Service for Cassie (Russell) Brooks, 88, of Muldrow, Oklahoma will be at 1:00 PM on Friday, May 26, 2023 at First Assembly of God Church in Muldrow, Oklahoma. Burial will follow at Upper Camp Creek Cemetery in Muldrow, Oklahoma under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.

She was born on August 29, 1934 in Redland, Oklahoma to Cleo (Butler) Russell and Charley James Russell and passed away on May 23, 2023 in Roland, Oklahoma. She was married to Wayne Brooks on October 8, 1955 in Moffett, Oklahoma. He preceded her in death on April 20, 2002. She was a housewife and of the Assembly of God faith.

Survivors are daughter, Sandy Banning and Rick of Barling, AR; son, Michael Brooks and Karen of Redland, OK; two grandchildren, Micah Brooks of Sallisaw, OK and Joe Banning of Barling, AR; two step-grandchildren, Johnny Banning and Chris Banning; nine step-great-grandchildren; two sisters, Fern Shamblin of Sallisaw, OK and Wilma Linker of Redland, OK; one brother, Jim Russell of Redland, OK; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; and one brother, Charles Russell.

Active Pallbearers will be Rick Russell, Johnny Banning, Chris Banning, Terry Deese, Dr. Gary Linker and James Barber.

Viewing will be 10 AM – 8 PM Thursday at Agent Mallory Martin Chapel in Muldrow, OK where the family will greet 6 – 8 PM.
