Cathy (Mayo) Chronister

Funeral Service for Cathy Mayo Chronister, 68 of Roland, Oklahoma will be at 2:00 PM on Friday, August 2, 2024 at Agent Mallory Martin Chapel in Muldrow, Oklahoma. Burial will follow at Roland City Cemetery in Roland, Oklahoma under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.

She was born on January 10, 1956 in to Nell Jo (Millican) Mayo and Billie Gean Mayo and passed away on July 27, 2024 in Poteau, Oklahoma. Mrs. Chronister was a babysitter and of the Pentecostal faith.

Survivors are two sons, Robert Chronister of Boynton Beach, Florida and Rickey Dale Chronister of Boynton Beach, Florida; daughter-in-law, Tanya Long Chronister of Muldrow, OK; 10 grandchildren, Erin Kye Chronister, Coe Chronister, Ema Chronister, Kyler Mattox, Coetyn Chronister, Adrianunna Chronister, Kadin Sky Chronister, Joseph Hart, Caleb Long and Jacob Long; four great-grandchildren, Annaleigh Mattox, Kiah Mattox, Dawson Mattox and Emmett Mattox; three siblings, Freddie Mayo of Fort Smith, AR, Pedro Mayo of Detroit, MI and Sherry Rowe of Naples, FL; and other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her son, Michael Chronister; her husband; her parents and two brothers, Robert Mize and Andy Mayo.

Active Pallbearers will be Rickey Dale Chronister, Robert Chronister, Darren Daniel, Kyler Mattox, Billy Mayo and Prentiss Peters. 

Honorary Pallbearers will be Freddie Mayo, Brian Mayo and Michael Gilstrap. 

Viewing will be 10 am - 8 pm Thursday at Agent Mallory Martin Chapel in Muldrow where the family will greet 6 - 8 pm.
