Funeral Service for Cecil Mantil, 87, of Sallisaw, Oklahoma will be at 10:00 AM on Thursday, March 3, 2022 at Agent Mallory Martin Chapel in Sallisaw, Oklahoma. Burial will follow at Akins Cemetery in Sallisaw, Oklahoma under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.

He was born on September 19, 1934 in Jefferson City, Missouri to Anna Mae (Mathis) Mantil and Cecil Mantil and passed away on February 26, 2022 in Tahlequah, Oklahoma. He was married to Mary Jo (Lacey) Mantil on June 27,1957 in Bentonville, Arkansas. She preceded him in death on November 20, 2015. He was a veteran of the United States Navy, a small engine repairman and a member of Faith Assembly of God Church in Sallisaw.

Survivors are:

1 son, David Mantil of Sallisaw OK;

special nieces, Alice Birchfield, Mary Birchfield, Teresa Birchfield, Teresa and William Culp and Linda Ward;

sister-in-law, Gladys Loretta Ward;

cousin, Tommy Wolfe;

and several other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife; and one son, Johnny Mantil.

Viewing will be 2 – 8 PM Wednesday at Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Home in Sallisaw, OK.
