He was born on September 5, 1944 in California to Robin and Oscar Eugene Waltermire and passed away on December 5, 2020 in Tahlequah, Oklahoma. He was married to Joyce (Freeman) Waltermire on December 4, 1975 in Stilwell, Oklahoma. Mr. Waltermire was a farmer and a U.S. Army Veteran.
Survivors are:
wife: Joyce of the home;
1 daughter: Ellen Waltermire of Sallisaw, OK;
4 grandchildren: Emma, Colten, Houston and Kyle;
2 step-sons: Billy Sparkman of Arkansas and Michael Sparkman of Ft. Smith, AR;
2 sisters: Bessie Reed and Martha Loper;
6 brothers: Floyd Crabtree, James Crabtree, Jesse Crabtree, Rocky Waltermire, Oscar Waltermire and Scotty Waltermire;
numerous other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, mother and step-mother, Ellen, 2 sisters: Louise Cunningham and Ollie Cunningham and 3 brothers: Thomas Harvey Crabtree, Carl Waltermire and Oscar J. Waltermire.
