He was born on November 7, 1946 in Rudy, Arkansas to Birdie Ella (Cluck) Barnett and Charles William Barnett and passed away on August 27, 2024 in Little Rock, Arkansas. He was a retired carpenter and a veteran of the United States Army.

Survivors are daughter, Shannon Workman of Mountainburg, AR; two grandchildren, Trevor McGuire and McKinze McGuire; one sister, Lola Dalton of Fort Smith, AR; one brother, Cecil Barnett of Liberty, MO; and other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Linda Ludlow; three brothers, Samuel Fadjo, Gene, and Ralph Barnett.
