He was born on February 17, 1935 in Wister, Oklahoma to Esther Fay (Gist) Heflin and Elzie Denver Heflin and passed away on August 21, 2022 in Gore, Oklahoma. Charles was an outdoors man. He loved to fish and hunt. He worked on the farm and also for the LeFlore County Highway Department. He was a strong believer in Jesus Christ.
Survivors are:
1 sister: Helen Louise Ray and Bobby of Spiro, Ok;
twin brother: Carl Heflin and Mary of Wister, OK;
7 nieces and 1 nephew;
several cousins and other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by an infant daughter; his parents and 2 sisters: Maxine Fox and Betty Johnson.
