Funeral Service for Charles Douglas Gillam, 87, of Alma, Arkansas will be at 10:00 AM on Friday, October 28, 2022 at Agent Mallory Martin Chapel in Sallisaw, Oklahoma. Burial will be at 11:00 AM at U.S. National Cemetery in Fort Smith, Arkansas under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.

Burial will be at 11:00 AM at U.S. National Cemetery in Fort Smith, Arkansas under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.
He was born on September 25, 1935 in Mansfield, Arkansas to Avil Zelia (Condry) Gillam and Leander C. Gillam and passed away on October 23, 2022 in Alma, Arkansas. He was in the U.S. Air Force and retired from the 188th Attack Fighter Group. He was a 32nd degree Mason and liked to hunt and fish.
Survivors are one sister, Frances Morgan and Gerald of Waxahachie, TX; two nephews, Daron Derrick and Susan of Terrell, TX and Drew Derrick of Terrell, TX; and other family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Marion Alene Gillam; and three brothers, Emerson, Marland and Sammy Gillam.
Viewing will be 10 AM – 8 PM Thursday at Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Home in Sallisaw, OK.
