Charles “Eddie” Rogers, 65, of Roland, Oklahoma was born on April 20, 1957 in Sallisaw, Oklahoma to Chlois (Holcomb) Rogers and Harvey Elmer Rogers and passed away on February 4, 2023 in Fort Smith, Arkansas. He was married to Sheila (Scott) Rogers on February 14, 1987 in Tacoma, Washington. Eddie was a retired United States Army Engineer and extremely patriotic. He was very proud of his 22 years of service. Eddie enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and his dogs. He was an avid bird watcher and a true Trekkie.
Survivors are wife, Sheila of the home; one son, Michael Skinner and wife, Samantha, of Fort Smith, AR; two grandchildren, Julianna and Alexander Skinner of Fort Smith, AR; two brothers, Phillip Rogers and wife, Candy, of Inola, OK and William Rogers and wife, Teresa Cummings-Rogers, of Santa Fe, New Mexico; three nieces, Coree Michelle Rogers, Jessica Cummings, Megan Leinington and husband, Monty; three great-nephews and one great-niece, Gabe Rogers, Gideon Rogers, River Muret and Roxy Muret; and several other family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
